I am concerned that I have contracted a case of trackpoint finger. I've been using stinkpads (and liking them) for 2+ years but the end of my pointer finger is always sensitive or sore. It does not throb or ache on its own (unlike CTS), but this can't be good.

In researching this, I stepped in a switcher site (switching to mac). There's something so distasteful about these self aggrandizing announcements, it's like coming out during Gay Days or something: "My processing unit loads, modifies and stores in a way that captures my eclecticism. I prefer b&w film to color. I can't decide whether I want to listen to Mahler or Cobain."

JFK was killed 40 yrs ago today and I hear about all of the wonderfulgood things he (oops, sorry, He) would have accomplished had he not been shot. Had he lived, maybe the students would have been shouting "Hey hey Ken-nuh-day, how many kids did ya kill today?" I think Shakespeare had it backwards: "The good that men do lives after them, the evil is oft interr`d with their bones. So let it be with Kennedy." OK, actually I really don't have any basis for the above assertion, but I don't think Kennedy would have been any less susceptible to the Prevailing Wisdom than LBJ.
